Happy New Year

So far 2011 is great!!! New Year's Eve we had a day pass to take Bentley home~ it was so nice to be home. I asked Chris what he thought they would do if we just didn't go back? He didn't want to find out so we went back at 9pm. But the break was well needed. New Years Day~ we got an overnight pass, so as I type this, Chris is feeding Bentley a bottle, and the other kids are playing with Bergen. We need to be back by 8 or 9 in morning so the nurses can weigh him~ he still hasn't gained ANY weight. Today was the first day we started adding calorie powder to his milk so hopefully tomorrow he will have gained something. He hasn't used his NG tube for anything in two full days ~ so that too may be a thing of the past quickly. What a strong little man we have, he has surprised us over and over. Hope to be home soon.

    It worked today, :) maybe it was just taking a holiday. The news is great eh? Do you think he'll be able to come home for good today or are they waiting for a weight gain or what? That would make life somewhat easier. How long before he starts using the velcro strap? Thanks for keeping us updated, appreciate it.

    We should be home tomorrow sometime~ he has started to gain weight. It would make things easier. :) We have the velco strap already made, and he doesnt seem to mind it, but it makes chaging his diaper a little more work. Oh well we'll take that and his speedy progress anyday! Thanks for checking the posts~ and again Thanks for coming up and helping ~remember if your ever bored~ we can always use an exta pair of hands here ;)

    LOL, I'm so happy to hear how everything has gone. It's almost unbelievable how tough that little guy is! He's letting nothing get in his way. The girls return next Wednesday, I will be at Cara's from Sunday on so I'm thinking if you like, I can come straight up when she gets home in the afternoon for a few days. Let me know if that sounds like something you might be interested in.
